If you take a quick look around the internet, the area of information for the college music major is a vast wasteland. A Google search for information for the music major yields very few results. This is a serious problem. Many questions in the area of getting in to college for music and how to survive when one gets there stand unanswered. MusicMajorSource.net was created to fill this void.

MMS, does this by featuring articles from, and interviews with a variety of knowledgeable university music students, faculty members, professional musicians and educators nationwide on subjects that will benefit the overall population of music majors worldwide. MMS's greatest asset is its forum. A place for discussion about all topics music major-related. It will be a place for the exchange of knowledge and the answering of questions, a need left completely unfulfilled on the Internet.

MMS is currently furiously under development and will be opened with content the Fall semester of 2011.
